The abundant natural lighting, especially at the rear of the home, provided by two triple sized windows giving awesome views of the acre treed lot; two double windows from the great room with the same view, and from the master bedroom sitting area you have the same view, plus if you open the window just a bit in the evenings, the sounds of nature in the evening and the symphony of birds singing in the morning bring such joy to the day. And there is this way the breezes whisper through the trees some days... you can close your eyes and swear you are on a beach. Deer regularly pass through and graze in the back yard. The rare bomber leather jacket colored etched and stained concrete floors are beautiful and complement most furniture choices. And the floors are easily maintained, and our summer cooling bills seem to be so much lower than our neighbors' experiences. We love the kitchen...spacious, well designed, only a couple steps from everything, and positioned so you are part of all the family room activities, TV and great views out the back. We have enjoyed the formal dining room, but we have also used the room as a nicely placed office near the entrance to the home, and the great room has alternatively been used as an office at one time, and a piano/music room sitting area, especially nice with a fire in the fireplace and cup of cocoa or coffee in the cooler months. The master bedroom is large enough for a sitting area, and the bath has a double vanity, lots of cabinet and drawer space, a large linen closet, an oversized shower, a functioning jacuzzi-style tub, and a huge walk-in closet. We've loved the house, the family-friendly neighborhood, the walkability into the neighboring subdivisions, and the neighbors. We will miss living here.
